Pialligo Estate Winery

One cold and freezing day in July 20 of us set out on the Village bus to the Pialligo Estate Winery. After only 20 minutes of travelling we were transported to another world, to a lovely boutique local winery and olive grove. We spent a delightful hour tasting the local wines and being entertained by the proprietors and then we sat down to a three course feast. A home cooked lunch was enjoyed by all, but the blustery wind did somehow escape from outside and entered in our marqui which did send some of us scurrying for the heater!
We had a wonderful time and intend going back in the spring to walk around the vineyard and along the banks of the Molongolo river.
