Welcome

A Calvary Retirement Community offers residents and their families a range of services and facilities designed to meet their individual needs in a unique community environment. We are committed to creating and nurturing a rich spiritual community that celebrates diversity, values, personal worth and human dignity. All Calvary Retirement Communities are owned and operated by Little Company of Mary Healthcare which carries on the rich heritage of care provided by the Sisters of the Little Company of Mary.

Our retirement and residential care services accommodate residents in three levels of care:
·         independent living (self-care) units
·         low care (hostel) accommodation and;
·         high care (nursing home) accommodation.

Calvary Retirement Communities also have a proud reputation in providing dementia care and palliative care programs that are regarded as some of the best in the country.

Care to residents in their own independent living unit can also be arranged; ensuring that residents and their families will have care options available to them, at all times, that are best able to meet their needs.

Facilities typically found in a Calvary Retirement Community are a club house or community centre incorporating an auditorium/multimedia room, chapel, dining room/café, hairdressing salon, fitness centre, library/business centre and areas for cards, crafts and other interests. Also available is a village bus and residents’ workshop along with attractive landscaped grounds.

The heart and spirit of an organisation is determined by its people. An overriding commitment of ‘being for others’ is at the heart of those who work at a Calvary Retirement Community which is lived out in their genuine interest in the residents. Management and staff of a Calvary Retirement Community have extensive experience and are dedicated to achieving excellence in care through continuous quality improvement and training.

Residents, carers, families and significant friends are offered support from our Team on a personal, emotional, practical and spiritual level. Emergency call response is available to all residents 24/7 and is monitored by trained staff through state-of-the-art systems.

We promote an approach that values the whole person – body, mind and spirit. Chaplaincy and Pastoral Care services are an important aspect of life in our community and cater for all people, regardless of their faith background.

By providing a distinctive Christian environment, a move into one of our Retirement Villages provides each individual with security, care, peace of mind and the opportunity to live life to the full.
